About Arts Therapy with Hester
There are times in our life when we benefit from having someone to walk next to us and offer support.
Arts Therapy can help you shift and you do not have to be an artist to benefit from Arts Therapy. As well as often being satisfying and calming, Hester values all creative expression for what it can tell you about yourself, how it can affirm you and for its ability to move you forward in your life.

An Art Therapist will listen and support you and they will also invite you to express yourself through art making. Through creating art and reflecting on the art products and processes, you can increase awareness of yourself and others, cope with symptoms, grow through stress and traumatic experiences, enhance cognitive abilities, and enjoy the life-affirming pleasures of making art.
Often growth happens when we see with fresh eyes. Art making allows us to express ourselves in ways other than through talking and in doing so new information and perspectives can be experienced.
